Family Time

I can hardly wait for our vacation to begin! After the hustle and bustle of the holidays, I am just ready to spend time in the mountains with the kids and Mark. We are leaving Monday and not coming home until Friday or Saturday. Our time will be spend doing things together. The kids favorite thing to do at night is pop popcorn and play board games. I feel so blessed that God has given me the terrific family that I have.

Hope you are enjoying your holidays with your family.

Love, Anna

Merry Christmas to all!!!

It's about 11:30 here. All the kids are tucked in bed. I am still wrapping the last of the presents. I heard Jamison (my 7 year old) tell his buddy at church, when Mama and Daddy are asleep and we know that Santa has been there we sneak down and check out our presents and then go back to bed. What a little sneak!

Libby's favorite phrase

Libby,

Has this expression alot and she always says "I don't know."
She spends alot of time playing with her kitchen, but she loves her babies most of all. She has a doll in tow, where ever she goes and it must have a blanket.

It was good to celebrate her birthday at home this year. We were fortunate to celebrate her first birthday with her in Guatemala. I took hostess cupcakes and put a candle in hers. At that time she was one year old and not crawling. She was so thin you could see her bones. We were so when we were concernedshe was moved to a new foster home as soon as we left. With in a month she was walking and had gained 3 pounds. When we got pictures again, it looked like a different child.. We can never repay our foster Mom for taking such good care of her. She will alway be an angel to us.

Posting

I have been trying to post pictures since Friday. Finally when I have the time, my computer won't cooperate. I have dial up and it takes forever and a day.

I am off for the till the January 6th and I am loving it!

It is so nice to stay in your jammies till 8 a.m. I love being home with the kids. I am almost ready for Christmas. I have to wrap a few more presents. I will get up early and go pick up some more food at the grocery store.

We are expecting an ice storm today. So we are staying in and finishing our baking, the kids are such a help. It is amazing how fast they can eat the cookies.

I am so happy for Terri and Family!

This little girl doesn't know the prays that have been sent up for her. She is one blessed little girl. Her life is going to change for the better as soon as Terri, gets her in her arms!

Connecting with Terri was one of the good things that happen during our adoption process. She has been such a support to me and so many others. She is the one that told me that we were out of PGN, when our lawyer and facilitator kept insisting that we were not. Terri, I can never repay you for that. I know you are the reason we brought Libby home when we did. When I was down she always was such a comfort.

I have some other adoptions Sisters that mean the world to me also. We have such a special bond because of all of the trials and tribulation that we shared. I hope that we can all get together next year, and share the good times with our children! I love you gals!
